Operation Slugger was established by the Louisville Slugger company to
support our men and women in uniform with sporting goods equipment to help
relieve the tension and separation associated with overseas duty...
Operation Slugger is soliciting donations of "gently used" and new sports
equipment which will be sent to our troops overseas, in Afghanistan and Iraq,
including: Softball Gloves - L & R hand, Bats, Softballs, Hats (new), Footballs,
Basketballs, Rugby Balls, Soccer Balls, Volleyball Sets, Badminton Sets,
Frisbees, Hackie Sacks, Nerf items, Duffle Bags, and Air pumps w/ needles.
Operation Slugger is supported locally by PLAY IT AGAIN SPORTS of
Encinitas and the North County Mens Senior Baseball League (NCMSBL),
an adult men’s baseball league playing games here in North County. This is a
great opportunity to put your unused sporting equipment to good use. A way
